Ms. Vanessa Jones
Principal

Hello, I am Vanessa Jones, the Proud Principal of Rowland Elementary School!

I want to take this opportunity to welcome each of you to the 2024-2025 school year. I know that this school year will be exciting for our Rowland Families. Yes, we are a family, and I am proud of Rowland’s Scholars, Staff, and Parents! We will have an awesome year! I believe in looking for the positive in every situation and the positive at Rowland Elementary School is that we have staff members that are ready to provide a quality learning experience for every scholar.

In order to make this school year a successful year we need each student to come to school or login every day. We need every scholar to complete their assignments and ask for help when needed. We need scholars to attend their intervention sessions and attend Rowland’s afterschool tutorial programs. Parents it is imperative that our scholars are always held accountable and encouraged to put forth their best effort.

Parents we are here to support you and our scholars. We need to work together to ensure student success for all of  Rowland’s scholars.

If you need any assistance, please reach out to me, Vanessa Jones at ( [email protected]), or the Assistant Principal, Dr. Mashika Jackson ([email protected]). We have two awesome counselors Dr. Mira Iheme ([email protected]) and Nicole Owens ([email protected]).  They are ready to provide on-going support for our scholars. Parents, thank you in advance for your support. Let’s make this the best year ever as we soar to new heights together.
